Due to a brief, weekend Holiday (starting tomorrow) and 'preparation for', there will be no pre-Aston Villa, F.A. Cup Blog-posting.

A really good, in-stadium atmosphere created by both sets of fans last night (I still have a hoarse throat) at the Etihad in the League Cup against Everton; mostly 7+ [out of 10] performances from City players - particular praise from me for Zaba, Otamendi, Fernadninho, Sterling (for great workrate and back-tracking), De Bruyne (PLAYING CENTRAL!) and our man Serg.

Well-done Blues - Wembley here we come!
