Stoke City 1 - 4 Manchester City

4-5-1, Milner from the start. Manuel Pellegrini DID learn...

No smooth ride, but...

A few scares but most certainly a determined and professional 'job done' from the lads. Still a few scary moments from the same-ol' weak links in, namely, Aleks Kolarov and what-the-hell-is-wrong-with-him Eliaquim Mangala. But, team-wise at least, a solid enough 7/10 performance at a tough venue.

Still disappointed at a largely unsatisfactory central two, midfield pairing of Fernando and Fernandinho; and I hope to hell that 2-goal scorer Sergio Aguero's apparent hip / back injury is only a mild 'niggle'. However, I don't won't to end on a 'low note' and will most-certainly praise, once again, a very fine performance from James Milner.

Well-played Blues...
